Accessibility statement
Brand Lab Ads' commitment to making this website usable by everyone, the level of conformance reached, and how to tell us about any barrier you come across.
1. Our commitment
Brand Lab Ads wants this site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their abilities and whatever technology they browse with: screen readers, magnifiers, keyboard-only navigation or mobile devices.
This statement is voluntary. Brand Lab Ads is a private business and this site is not covered by Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018, which applies to public sector websites. Even so, we have adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA as our benchmark, as they are the international standard in this field.
2. Level of conformance
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: it meets most of the requirements, with the exceptions set out in the next section.
3. Non-accessible content
As at the date of this statement we are aware of the following limitation, found in our own review:
- Insufficient contrast in some small text. Certain items set in the brand pink on a white background — the labels on the service cards, the “View service” and “Read article” links, and some links within body text — reach a contrast ratio of 3.5:1, below the 4.5:1 required by success criterion 1.4.3 (minimum contrast).
That pink is part of the brand’s visual identity and, for the time being, the decision has been to keep it. No content or feature is out of your reach because of this: ordinary body text is shown in a dark colour and does meet the required contrast; links within body text are underlined, so they can be recognised without relying on colour; the labels and the “View service” and “Read article” links always sit next to a legible heading inside a card that is clickable in its entirety; and everything can be reached with the keyboard. We will review this point again at future revisions of the site.
4. Measures already in place
The site was built with accessibility in mind from the outset. Among other measures:
- A semantic structure with identified regions (header, navigation, main content and footer), which makes it possible to jump from one block to another with a screen reader.
- A single main heading per page and a consistent heading hierarchy, so the content can be navigated by its structure.
- Every image has alternative text; purely decorative ones are marked as such so screen readers skip them.
- The language of each page is declared in the code (Spanish or English) and the version in the other language is signposted, so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
- Forms have labels tied to each field, indicate which ones are required, and show errors and confirmations as text, not through colour alone.
- The whole site can be navigated with the keyboard, and the focused element is always visible.
- The “ES” / “EN” language switcher links have a tap area of at least 24 by 24 pixels, as required by success criterion 2.5.8 (target size), so they can be hit accurately on touch screens.
- The design is responsive: it can be zoomed to 200 % and used on mobile without horizontal scrolling appearing.
- There is no flashing content, no automatic carousels and no audio or video that plays by itself.
5. How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared on 5 August 2026 by means of a self-assessment carried out by the technical team that maintains the site. A manual review was combined with automated testing (axe-core 4.10, applying the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 success criteria at levels A and AA) across a representative sample of pages in Spanish and English: home, services, projects, blog, contact and the legal pages.
It is worth bearing in mind that no automated tool detects every possible barrier: some things only come to light through manual review or through the experience of real users. That is why the feedback section below matters to us.
6. Feedback and contact details
If you come across a barrier while using this site, if you need particular content in an alternative format, or if you would like to make a suggestion, write to us at info@brandlabads.com telling us which page it happens on and what went wrong. We aim to reply within twenty working days at most and to put the problem right as soon as we can.
